How to Use

I like to call the universal method for working with crystals in spirituality the CSC Method—an acronym for Cleanse, Set Your Intention, and Charge.

🌿 Cleanse

Crystals are believed to be conductors of energy, meaning they can absorb, hold, and transform the energetic environments they’re exposed to. Whether you believe they’ve picked up energy from the earth, the people who’ve handled them, or simply from everyday use, cleansing is a ritual that allows you to begin your work with a fresh slate.

Using the smudge stick provided, gently pass your crystal through the smoke for 30–60 seconds while focusing on releasing any energy that no longer serves your purpose.

If you’re unable to smoke cleanse and your crystal is water-safe, you may instead rinse it using Moon Water, Florida Water, or Blue Anil Agua. (Always check that your crystal is water-safe before using this method, as some crystals can dissolve or become damaged.)

✨ Set Your Intention

Once your crystal has been cleansed, hold it comfortably in your hands and take a few slow, deep breaths. Allow yourself to become present and think about what you would like this crystal to support you with.

Your intention doesn’t have to be elaborate, it can be as simple as:

• “I invite peace into my life.”
• “Help me remain grounded and protected.”
• “I welcome abundance and new opportunities.”
• “Support me in speaking my truth.”

Some people like to say their intention aloud, while others prefer to keep it private. There is no right or wrong way, the important part is that your intention feels genuine to you.

🌕 Charge

Charging your crystal is the final step. Think of this as reinforcing the purpose you’ve just given it.

One of the most popular ways to charge crystals is by placing them under the light of the full moon overnight. You can also place them on a piece of selenite or clear quartz, leave them in a meaningful place on your altar, or simply hold them during meditation while reconnecting with your intention.

Remember, the crystal is not believed to create change on its own, it acts as a physical reminder of the intention you’ve committed to. Your thoughts, actions, and consistency are what bring that intention to life, with the crystal serving as a symbolic tool to help keep you aligned along the way.

Chocolate Calcite is traditionally associated with grounding, emotional stability, resilience and inner strength. Its earthy energy is used to bring you back into the present and encourage a greater sense of security when life feels uncertain or energetically chaotic.

It is particularly suited to ancestral work, shadow work and spiritual integration, helping you remain rooted while exploring deeper aspects of yourself or your spiritual practice.

Chocolate Calcite can also be worked with when establishing stronger foundations, boundaries and long-term stability, making it a beautiful stone for periods of rebuilding and transformation.

Chocolate Calcite is a soft mineral and can scratch, chip or lose its polish relatively easily.

Avoid soaking it in water, salt water, acidic substances and chemical cleansers. Clean the physical surface gently with a soft, dry cloth.

For energetic cleansing, use methods such as smoke, sound or moonlight, rather than water or salt. Store away from harder crystals to help preserve its polished surface.
